IYF 2024 – KhonkaenWittayayon School Students Champion Global Sustainability and Human Rights

22-23 Oct 2024, Bangkok, Thailand – In an inspiring demonstration of youth leadership and commitment to global issues, two students from Khon Kaen Wittayayon School, Kittiphon Yaipool (Peace) M6 and Kittiphak Yaipool (Zen) M5, actively participated in the 4th International Youth Forum on SDGs and Human Rights (IYF 2024) held in Bangkok. Their involvement in this prestigious event is a testament to the effectiveness of the English Program at Khon Kaen Wittayayon School in nurturing knowledgeable global citizens ready to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

Cultivating Global Leaders Through Comprehensive Education

Under the guidance of the English Program at Khon Kaen Wittayayon School, which prioritizes global perspectives and comprehensive education, Kittiphon and Kittiphak engaged deeply with international experts and peers. They focused on Sustainable Development Goal 16, advocating for Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions. The forum provided a critical platform for them to exchange ideas, absorb diverse global viewpoints, and contribute to the Bangkok Youth Declaration, aimed at propelling youth towards the achievement of the SDGs.

Empowerment Through Active Participation

The forum transcended traditional learning, serving as a springboard for real-world applications and initiatives. Participating in workshops and panel discussions about the integration of human rights with sustainable development, the brothers developed essential advocacy and digital empowerment skills. Their enthusiastic involvement illustrates how educational programs like the EP KKW can transform students into dynamic participants in global dialogues.
